Mr. Grenon’s formal training includes both a Masters Degree in City Planning from the University of Manitoba, Canada, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta, Canada. Mr. Grenon began his career in the real estate business as a project manager. After returning to university to attend law school in 1994, Mr. Grenon practiced real estate law with a prominent law firm in Edmonton, Canada, for a period of five years before moving to Dallas, Texas, in 2001. As a member of the Madison team Mr. Grenon has worked in the areas of acquisition, development and property management.

Mr. Grenon has extensive experience in real estate transactions and has managed the acquisition, divestiture and financing of in excess of $500,000,000 of real estate during his time with Madison. Mr. Grenon’s expertise extends beyond purchase and sale matters and includes extensive experience in retail leasing where Mr. Grenon has been involved in the leasing and management of some 4,000,000 square feet of retail space and has negotiated leases with such major tenant’s as Wal-Mart, Lowe’s, Kroger, Target, Belk, Best Buy and Petsmart. Mr. Grenon also is heavily involved with Madison’s many residential lot development projects and has assisted with the acquisition and development of in excess of 2,000 acres of land since joining Madison.
